Pizza Abyss is a rebellious, underground pizza joint that embraces bold flavors, dark aesthetics, and a no-rules attitude. Pizza Abyss is not just a restaurant — it’s an experience for those who crave something deeper, richer, and a little dangerous. Designed for night-owls, rule-breakers, and flavor seekers, the visuals of Pizza Abyss mirror the tagline: “Deep, Dark, and Dangerously Good.”
After hearing the classroom project my classmates and I were to entail, I was already having big ideas. Going into designing Pizza Abyss, I knew I could heavily lean into the punk and edgy aspects of the brand with a custom typeface and a personalized character. I expanded on the original assignment by designing a food truck and pizza box for the brand.
